Innocent Role Guide

Most rounds of ALL CHROMAS GAME you are Innocent. You spawn unarmed in a twelve-player Roblox lobby, and you win by still existing when the Murderer is gone — or by picking up a dropped gun and finishing the job without becoming the next teamkill. This is not a spectator role. It is the default role. Treat it like the job you rolled, not like downtime until you get Murderer.

The experience has been live since 30 July 2026. It is free. Rounds are online, not split-screen. If you queued in from getting started and the banner said Innocent, stay on this page until grouping and pickup are automatic.

Stay grouped versus split

Alone is how you die. The Murderer page is built around isolation: one Innocent in a side room, one melee, no witness. Your counter is a pack of two or three, not a twelve-person conga and not a solo tourist route.

Two or three is the number. A full lobby stack in one doorway is a throw magnet and a Sheriff friendly-fire factory. A pair that can still see each other around a corner is enough to make a melee messy. If your partner peels toward a dead-end, you either follow or you loudly stop — you do not watch them walk off and then act surprised.

Splitting “to cover more map” is Murderer bait. You do not have a knife. You do not have a gun unless someone dropped one. Covering more map covers more graves. Patrol a short loop with your group: a room cluster, a stair, a courtyard edge. When the pack moves, you move.

Listen for the knife

You will hear the throw before you see the chroma. Knife throws in this Murder Mystery 2 clone family have a distinct wind-up and impact. Face the sound, not the body. The body is where the victim was. The origin is where murderer still is.

Visual tells matter too. Heat, Tides, Slasher, and Gingerblade read loudly when they are drawn. Deathshard is small; do not assume “no giant blade in the lobby” means you are safe. Watch hands in your pack. A teammate who suddenly has a knife is not a new Sheriff. Sheriff spawns with a gun. A knife in a crowd is the Murderer advertising.

Sprint tells: Shift from a standstill toward a singleton, then a corner. Jump-spam into a room. If that player is in your pack, peel off them. If that player is across the courtyard, do not hero-sprint into their melee range to “check.” Point the Sheriff if you still have one. You are unarmed.

Grab the dropped gun

The gun hits the floor when the Sheriff shoots an Innocent, or when a later holder repeats that mistake. Pickup is E or walk-over — same family as Murder Mystery 2 clones. Sprint through the weapon if you are under chase; a walk-over still counts. Do not stand on the pickup animation in a hallway the Murderer already entered.

Once you hold the gun, you are playing sheriff rules even though you did not spawn as Sheriff:

  • Confirm the blade before you hipfire.
  • Do not shoot the first sprinter in your old pack. They are probably Innocent.
  • Hold a short angle, not a marathon hallway.
  • A teamkill drops the gun again. The lobby will not forgive a second drop.

If two Innocents reach the gun, one takes it and the other stays as a witness. Fighting each other on the floor is how the Murderer walks in and melee both of you. Call the pickup. Then shut up and hold an angle.

Do not fake Sheriff

Fake-Sheriff is the Innocent habit that feeds Murderers and ruins real Sheriff play. You spawned with empty hands. Saying “I am Sheriff” in chat does not give you a gun. It does three bad things:

  1. Real Sheriff now has to guess whether you are panicked or baiting.
  2. Teammates peel with you into isolates because they think you can shoot.
  3. The Murderer knows exactly which pack is lying and which pack is armed.

If you want to help, stay with the real gun, call a knife when you see one, and take the floor weapon only after it exists. Roleplay is for the lobby. During the round, your hands are the only ID that matters.

Do not pick up the gun and then pretend you spawned with it if the lobby already saw the drop. The Murderer is listening. So is the next Innocent who might need to pick up your drop.

Win by existing

Innocent wins are boring on purpose. You grouped, you heard a throw, you did not feed a hallway, and either the Sheriff hit the blade or you picked up the gun and did. You do not need a montage. You need to still be standing.

Late round with three people left: stay near the Sheriff if they still have the gun. If they do not, play pickup geometry — the gun on the floor is the round. Do not 1v1 the Murderer with fists. That is not a hidden melee mode. That is a donation.

When the round ends you are still in an online twelve-player server. Reset your chroma only in the lobby. Confirmed Season 1 skins do not change Innocent rules; they only change how easy the Murderer is to spot. Codes are not confirmed as of September 2026 and would not arm you at spawn anyway.

If this was your first session, go back to getting started and run the click order again. If the same Murderer isolation keeps working on you, reread grouping. If you keep dumping a picked-up gun, reread sheriff confirmation before you queue another round.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Should Innocents split up in ALL CHROMAS GAME?

No. Travel in two or three. Solo routes are isolates for murderer. A full twelve-stack in one door is a throw magnet. Short loops with a small pack beat map-wide tourism.

How do I pick up the Sheriff gun?

Walk over it or press E — same family as Murder Mystery 2 clones. Then follow sheriff rules: confirm the Murderer, hold a short angle, and do not teamkill or the gun drops again.

Why is fake-Sheriff a problem?

Empty hands are Innocent. Chat cannot spawn a gun. Faking Sheriff peels teammates into isolates and confuses the real gun holder. Identify roles by kits, not by messages.

Can I melee as Innocent without a gun?

No. Innocent is unarmed until a gun drop. Fists against a chroma knife is a donation. Group, listen, and take the pickup when it exists.

I just installed. Is Innocent the right first role to learn?

Yes. Most rounds assign it. Finish getting started, then use this page until grouping and pickup are automatic. Murderer and Sheriff come after you stop feeding isolates.
